no legend. no other hints. no list of bus nos to take. nadah.
so then we got a hint that the first station was at SELETAR.

set off to the interchange to look for a bus from AMK to Seletar.

this is my friend ian. he has a new nickname,

national bao bao.

anyways, SELETAR is damn ass big.

so, frm the map, there was this bridge lookalike thing that connected across waters.

so, we thought, a reservior or sth like that.

so,

the auntie from the bus passenger service told us to take bus 138, which led us to seletar reservoir.

both of them, damn drama seriously.

and we got to the reservoir alright. and we walked across this huge stretch of road. kinda thought it was the link as shown on the map.

dead corpse of a fish. its head looked as if it exploded or sth.

thats mitcher. he is 1.89m.

ok. back to the point,

we thought we gotten to the first station.

BUT NO!

we were at upper seletar, when the station was at lower seletar.

aiyy.

so, we, the ji cheng team, lost abit of hope due to the hot hot hot weather.

in spite of the hot sun, we took more pictures!

sry. bad photography skills. stupid mitcher HAI-ed at me somemore. wah lao.

and so, we walked across the long stretch of road again, back to the bus stop to take a bus to the interchange.

damn bus took 10 thousand years to arrive. oily hell.

just look at the surroundings man! we were in a rural bumpkin environment!

OKAY. NOW I WANT TO COMPLAIN ALRDY.

so, after, we got the tip off that the first station was at lower seletar, we took a bus to yishun ave 1, alighted from there, where we saw another grp on the bus, and szu and i wanted to show them our pretty __ (s).

we thought it was at the reservoir. so, we walked thru the park... where we saw quite a no. of dragonboat teams..

THE THING IS!

we walked super duper long under the 3 0'clock sun... i think roughly around 2++ KM,

only to find out, from the other grps, that we had to walk another super duper long journey into this reclamation blabla land to get to the first station.

no pics lahs, but i am not exaggerating when i said, super duper long journey.

the kilometres , if we had to walk, that is, is not fit for humans luh.

really, horribly long.

as what mitcher said luh, we really walked till we "冒烟" ytd.

the nice part, of it all, is that we hitched two free rides!

exciting luh!

never hitched a ride from strangers before.. but with ian and mitcher around, i feel very safe. :D

firs station. xavier closed one eye on this one luh... he is a good fwen. :D

after the station, went on to the next one.. even though we said we would stop and go to ian's place instead to drink his yummmmy vodka mango..

but.

ji cheng perservered.

and so, we took a bus to ... mac ritchie, which was our next station.

wah lau -.-

but wah lau! when we got to mac ritchie, just when we stepped out of the bus, we got a call from the organizers.

told us the station was closed.

pek chek can.

in total, we only did 2 out of the 6 stations.

but i am glad to tell you, that

ji cheng is not the last grp!

whole thing ended at heeren, was hungry hungry, so we had dinner at cine.

so..........................................

the race wasnt nice..

but we had fun.

caught up alot since our sec 4 days.

to think they used to look so innocent back in our sec 3 and 4 years. dragon boat really brought them up to the nxt level..

at least i think we laughed till we got abs.

hmmmm. i dont mind more outings with TOO FAST TOO FURIOUS.
